The 196th Forum has been working on updating unit assignments of KIAs on the Honor Roll.
Charlie Grunts have gained three brothers this weekend:
Gerald Bourdeau
Edward Merritt
Alfred Sevenski
I well remember Gerald Bourdeau but my memory of being with him when he died does not jibe with the official date of his loss, 11/5/66. Does anyone else remember him?
Rex Allen got here yesterday and we spent the day shooting jack rabbits, prarie dogs, and several other things. Rex is going to get to stay for a week or so. We will going to the mountains in a couple of days to do some fishing. We are having a great time!

‎Golden Corral and Tommy Baldwin Racing have a big announcement: Through the remainder of the season, they will run the “Racing for America’s Families†promotion for each race. Each time No. 36, driven by Dave Blaney, finishes in the top-10, Golden Corral will donate $5,000 to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and offer a “Kids Eat Free†day the immediate Monday following the race.

lt–good to hear tai is doing good.
Hey guys!
I think I am growing web feet as we have had just a seemingly endless stream of rain. Just to let you know, Tai has been making a remarkable recovery and is driving and going to physical therapy. She is pushing hard to get back to normal or as near normal as she can get. Hope you are all well and safe!
Happy Easter!

Bill and Chuck….. great videos……I don’t know how to post the link, but there is a pretty funny video on Youtube called “Apocalypse Pooh”…..starring Winnie the Pooh as the Martin Sheen charcter in “Apocalypse Now”…….I know it sounds stupid , but try it, you’ll like it.

Hey guys!
Living in the Chicago area this year sucks! A weatherman today coined a new phrase for the season we are in called SPINTER which is a combination of Spring and Winter. We had about 2″ of snow on the ground this morning and O’Hare set a new record snowfall for the day of an official .6″ We haven’t seen any where near normal temps this Spring with most days in 40’s and low 50’s with an abundance of wind and rain. Florida looks good for next year as I’m too old for this S**t.
Happy Birthday Eddie. We’ll celebrate when we get together again.
Happy Birthday Ed. Hope you have a fantastic day!
Fast Eddie
Happy B-Day….
Gary, that was a good newspaper story. I am glad the brothers were able to find out exactly what happened and get some closure after all these years. You and your buddies making that trip was a truly righteous and decent gesture.
Several of us just got back from Belleville, IL where we visited with the family of Allen Gray, who was KIA on Jan. 11, 1971. We also visited his grave and had a memorial service. We met Allen’s brothers Chip, Doug and Tim who welcomed us with open arms and they’re now a part of our extended family. It was a unique and wonderful experience for us all.
The local paper did a front page story:
